Terms of Service

1. What Launchster is

Launchster analyzes publicly available data about your YouTube channel and returns an audit and coaching guidance. It is an analysis and advisory tool. We do not manage your channel, and we never publish, edit, or delete anything on it.

2. Your account

You need an account to use Launchster. Keep your password secure and let us know promptly if you believe someone else has access. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, whichever is higher.

3. YouTube

Launchster uses YouTube API Services to read public information about the channel you tell us to analyze. By using Launchster, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

Google's privacy practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy. Launchster is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.

4. Services we build on

Launchster depends on third-party services. Your use of Launchster is also subject to their terms where they apply to you:

We choose these providers carefully, but we are not responsible for their services. If one of them changes, restricts, or discontinues what it offers, parts of Launchster may change or stop working.

5. Plans, billing, cancellation, and refunds

The free tier includes one audit and requires no payment details. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.

On paid plans the service runs entirely on its own: we re-analyze your channel on your assigned day each week, and send you a coaching message weekly once there is enough history to compare. There is nothing for you to trigger, and no audit allowance to use up.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancelling stops all future charges, and you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Refunds. When you subscribe you ask us to start the service straight away, and you confirm that at checkout. If you then change your mind within 14 days:

  • If we have not delivered anything — you did not request an audit and we have not sent you a coaching message — full refund, no questions asked. This is usually the case if you never connected a channel.
  • If we have delivered something — you ran an audit, or we sent you a coaching message — we refund the price less a proportionate amount for the days you have had access. For example, cancelling on day 13 of a 30-day month on the $9.99 plan refunds $5.66 and keeps $4.33 for the 13 days used.
  • If something went wrong on our side — full refund, whenever it happened.

After 14 days we do not refund partial months. Cancel instead, and keep full access until your period ends.

Also, if you are ever charged for a month in which we delivered you nothing — a renewal you meant to cancel — tell us and we will refund it, regardless of the 14 days.

Email support@launchster.io. Refunds return to your original payment method, usually within five to ten business days.

This reflects your statutory right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days, and the trader's corresponding right to be paid for what was actually supplied in that time. Nothing here removes any other right you have as a consumer where you live.

6. Uploaded analytics data

On plans that support it, you may optionally upload an analytics export from YouTube Studio. This is entirely voluntary. If you upload one, we store the per-video metrics it contains and use them to improve your coaching. You can stop uploading at any time, and you can ask us to delete previous uploads.

7. Acceptable use

Please do not:

  • • Analyze a channel you have no legitimate interest in monitoring
  • • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • • Scrape, resell, or redistribute Launchster's output as your own service
  • • Interfere with the service, or use it to break the law or YouTube's rules

8. Advice, not guarantees

Coaching is generated by an AI model from the data available to us. It is guidance, not a promise of results. We do not guarantee any increase in views, subscribers, engagement, or revenue. You are responsible for decisions you make about your channel.

9. Availability

We aim to keep Launchster running and accurate, but we provide it "as is." Audits depend on third-party services — including YouTube's API — that can change, rate-limit, or go down without notice. To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

10. Ending your account

You can close your account at any time by writing to us. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

11. Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. If a change materially affects your rights, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use Launchster after that means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction — to be completed], and any dispute will be handled by the courts there. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, nothing here removes rights you have under the mandatory law of your own country.

13. Contact

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Questions about either: support@launchster.io.
